Privacy Policy
Last updated: 29 October 2026
Truly Rich is built to know as little about you as possible. There is no account, no advertising, no analytics and no tracking. This policy explains the small amount of data the app does handle and why.
Truly Rich is published by the developer listed as the seller on its App Store page ("we"). You can reach us at info@trulyrich.app.
What we never collect
- Your Apple ID, real name, email address, phone number or contacts. Apple does not share these with us when you buy something.
- Your location, advertising identifier or browsing activity.
- Analytics or usage tracking of any kind, and we do not sell or share data with advertisers or data brokers.
What stays on your device
- Motion sensor data is used only to move the virtual lights when you tilt your device. It is processed live on the device and never stored or sent anywhere.
- The name you type for your certificate is remembered on your device so you don't have to type it again.
- A random owner key is created on your device and kept in your iCloud Keychain, so you can manage your certificates on a new device. Only a one-way hash of it ever reaches us.
- Certificate images are created on your device. They only leave it if you share or save them yourself.
What we store when you claim a certificate
When you buy a diamond, the app sends the App Store's signed purchase record to our server so we can verify the purchase and issue a serial number.
| Data | Why | Visibility |
|---|---|---|
| Display name you choose | Printed on your certificate | Public on your certificate page |
| Diamond, serial number and purchase date | The certificate itself | Public on your certificate page |
| App Store transaction ID and environment (production or test) | To verify the purchase, prevent duplicate serials and revoke refunded certificates | Never shown publicly |
| A one-way hash of a random owner key | Proves that a change to your certificate comes from you. The key itself stays in your iCloud Keychain. | Never shown publicly |
The legal basis is performance of the service you purchased. The display name is whatever you type: you don't need to use your real name, and we recommend a fun alias.
If Apple tells us a purchase was refunded, we mark the certificate as revoked. Its number is retired and not reissued.
Where it is stored
Certificates are stored with Cloudflare, Inc., which hosts our server and this website. Cloudflare processes technical request data such as IP addresses to deliver and protect the service; we do not use it to identify you. Payments are processed entirely by Apple under Apple's privacy policy; we never see payment details.
How long we keep it
Certificate records are kept for as long as Truly Rich operates, because the serial number history is what makes each certificate unique. You can ask us at any time to change your display name or to delete your certificate record. After deletion your public page disappears and the serial number is retired.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the EU GDPR), you have the right to access, correct or delete your data, to object to or restrict processing, and to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. Email info@trulyrich.app and include your certificate link or number so we can find it.
Children
Truly Rich is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and its date. Significant changes will also be noted in the app's release notes.
