How it works

Wealth, in three taps.

Pick your stone

Browse the vault. Every diamond is cut facet by facet and ray-traced live, with real refraction, fire and sparkle. Tilt your phone and the lights move.

Own it

One purchase through the App Store. You get the next serial number of that edition and a certificate with your name on it, the one you choose.

Show it off

Share a certificate image to your story, your group chat or your rival. A link on it leads to your verified certificate page.

Bragging rights, verified

Your name. Your number. Forever-ish.

Every certificate is checked against your App Store purchase before a serial is issued, so #0042 means exactly one person on Earth owns #0042. If a purchase is refunded, its certificate is revoked and the number is retired, never reissued.

Your public page shows the stone, the serial, the date and the name you chose. Nothing else.

The fine print, in large print

Let's be completely clear.

  • No real valueA Truly Rich diamond is a picture and a certificate inside an app. It is not a gemstone and has no monetary value.
  • Not an investmentIt will not appreciate. It cannot be sold back, resold, traded or cashed out.
  • Not an NFTNo blockchain, no wallet, no tokens. Ownership lives with your Apple ID purchase.
  • Not transferableYour certificate stays with the purchase that created it. Gift the app, not the stone.

Questions

Asked by the curious and the wealthy.

Is this a joke?

It is satire about luxury and status, built with completely serious engineering. The diamonds are rendered with a real optical simulation: refraction, total internal reflection and dispersion, the same physics that make real diamonds sparkle.

What do I actually get?

The stone in your collection to spin and admire, a numbered certificate with the name you choose, and a shareable image. That is all, and we think that's plenty.

Do you know who I am?

No. Apple doesn't share your name or email with us. The name on your certificate is whatever you type, so "Sir Reginald the Magnificent" is perfectly acceptable.

Can I change the name on my certificate?

Yes, any time, from the stone's share screen in the app. The serial number stays the same.

I switched phones. Is my diamond gone?

No. Purchases belong to your Apple ID, so use Restore Purchases in the app on the new device.

Can I get a refund?

Refunds are handled by Apple through reportaproblem.apple.com. If a refund is granted, the certificate is revoked and its number retired.
